My name is Harris and I've been drawing my whole life. Receiving my bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Animation has afforded me some great opportunities as an artist. I started freelancing for a company called Animated Storyboards where I would help create storyboards for various commercials. Multiple directors would explain their pitch for a potential commercial and provide me with reference photos. My job would be to produce an entire storyboarded sequence usually in an 1 to 2 hour session.

 

Storyboarding led me to create animated shorts on my YouTube page which got me a job animating for the Award winning podcast Tell Em Steve Dave. The project which would be called TESD TV had me storyboarding and animating entire sequences and editing them into a three camera live action narrative. This whole undertaking took over two years of hard work to complete and is something I am incredibly proud of.

 

I also love to draw backgrounds. I've been focusing on making the perspective extremely accurate. It also made me realize how important the colors you choose can affect the drawing. They can change the whole tone of a drawing and can be very challenging to come up with a meaningful color palette.

 

I live in the Chicagoland area and when I'm not drawing, I like cooking, exercising and playing video games. I have a cat named Zoey who slept on my lap and meowed a lot while all the art on this website was created.
